The Treasure Labyrinth

Entry: talk to Simon in Twin City (north of the plaza) and pay 10,000 silver — or 2,000 virtue points, the classic toll. For whom: the labyrinth Slingers are level 105-120 -- this is endgame hunting. Reward: diamonds that Simon exchanges for MeteorScrolls, big silver purses, and a SunBox; each floor's monsters also carry the token that opens the next, deeper floor.

A four-floor dungeon crawl: descend as deep as you dare, farm the diamonds, and trade them back on the surface.

Getting in and moving down

  1. Simon (Twin City) teleports you to floor 1 for 10,000 silver (or 2,000 virtue points).
  2. Each floor is hunted for two things:
  • Diamonds -- the currency you carry back to Simon.
  • The floor's token -- hand it to the Old Explorer standing on that floor and he sends you one floor deeper.
FloorMonstersDiamondToken to descend
1Slinger (lvl 105)SunDiamondSkyToken
2SlingerL110MoonDiamondEarthToken
3SlingerL115StarDiamondSoulToken
4SlingerL120CloudDiamond-- (deepest floor)

Every Old Explorer can also send you home to Twin City at any time -- you are never stranded. (Dying works too, but costs you the usual death penalty.)

Simon's exchange

  • 15 SunDiamonds -> 1 MeteorScroll
  • 12 MoonDiamonds -> 1 MeteorScroll + 250,000 silver
  • 12 StarDiamonds -> 1 MeteorScroll + 500,000 silver
  • 10 CloudDiamonds -> 1 SunBox + 1,000,000 silver

(A MeteorScroll unpacks into 10 Meteors -- use it from your bag, or ask MillionaireLee on the Market.)

How our version differs

  • Entry costs silver OR virtue — the classic 2,000-virtue-point toll is back (see Virtue Points), and the 10,000-silver door stays open for the virtue-less.
  • Classic CO only ever populated floor 1; our floors 2-4 are our own progressive Slinger tiers, so the whole descent is worth making.
  • Drop rates are rounded to whole percents, and the floor TOKENS drop noticeably more often than in classic CO -- unlocking the next floor should not be the grind; the diamonds are.
